lol All Boston sports and a Pats season ticket holder for 30 years.  Thanks Yes I run an optical cable from the 4K player into my preamp when I stream concerts on YouTube.  The soundbar is fine for TV but I watch very little TV.  I even listen to music when I watch sports.   It drives some of my friends crazy but I don’t need to hear the play by play and commentary.  I had a 7.2 home Theatre setup 1st and switched over to 2.2 music system about 3 years ago when I found I was listening to music 90%+ of the time.

I lost interest when I saw all the Patriots paraphernalia lol

Really nice.
Thought about using your preamplifier to create a home theater bypass and therefore take advantage of your nice speakers. Maybe the sound bar is amazing amazing.

Think of all the improved imaging you'll get when you listen to baseball games by using those speakers.

you Have an optical connection on your preamplifier that could be used.
