Room is custom designed and treated, sheathed with Baltic birch plywood, green glue and drywall. Room is angled in side to side and the ceiling angled down front to back. Soundbar on ceiling, sound proof doors. Electrical consists of 8 x 20 amp and 8 x 15 amp PS Audio outlets, 1/2 of the outlets come directly from a 200 amp panel, the other 1/2 run through the massive isolation transformer. This can be configured as required. All electrical cable are the same length back to the panel. There is really too much more to mention.
JBL Professional Cinema Series theater speakers (LCR) and subs
Behind the acoustically transparent screen is a stage with the JBL professional series speakers. All Crown amplification, Marantz processor, Apple TV etc are stored in a rack in the server room.
@craig_severin I actually have some but can’t hear a difference with them installed. None of my power cords or interconnects touch each other, not sure if that makes a difference but it looks tidy. This system has the blackest background of any system I’ve ever had, I’m sure the isolation transformer and the dedicated electrical is helping that.
Awesome system. Lots of custom work and effort. You would be stunned by the improvement from lifting those speaker cables off the carpet. Even in my system, which is not comparable, I was stunned. It was one of those unforgettable improvements that I distinctly remember.
Very nice system that you have put together. Your Revox that you have close the floor does it work well the way you have it. I have a Revox A77 MKII I could setup the same way because of my system rack is pretty full.
