@retiredaudioguy great looking amp and better that you built it yourself! I've been considering SET for a second system. How much power does it push out, approx 15 watts?

Hey retired audio guy another cool tube amp nice build! I will say this a local shop builds custom gear and almost exclusively with vintage output transformers. Those always sounded the best to me maybe an idea for your next project? And so cool you can build digital stuff too almost no one DIYs digital!

Thanks for your note.  I'll get around to some more images this weekend.  My room is totally untreated, it is my living room.

That amp, and the Elekit, were the first bits of Audio gear I had built in about 65 years!  I had built radios and an amp  in the late 50s or early 60s.

I had done a few digital (non-audio) wire wrapped projects including a clock using LSI (74HC) chips after I found that my audio system clock (Stanford Research) emitted an incredibly precise 1 pulse per second, my daughter did a WOW so I built one for her using a 32kHz TCXO chip - similar to those used in DACs, but much lower in frequency.

I always admire you builders of amps and speakers. The utilitarian look of the amp gives it a certain dignity, an understated form-follows-function appeal.

I'd love to see the room and the other parts. Seeing how people set up their rooms often inspires me to try new things.

Anyway, nice job....
