Description

Started with a B&W DM600 S3 pair, the LCR center, and the ASW300 sub with a used Denon 5.1 receiver in 2002 or so.

About 12 years ago I got itchy and bought a pair of used 683s to replace the 600s. Added the 1560 soon after.

Just a last year go the 2 channel Rotel amp and the HTM2. HUGE difference in sound made me look for another pair of mains.

Just recently I found an outstanding deal on the 804 D2s and had to jump on it.

I’m sure I’ll upgrade the amplification at some point but the 804s may be the last pair of stereo speakers I buy — this hobby is getting too rich for me!

I have a pair of B&W 600 series speakers and they are phenomenally comfortable listen to.  So easily and nicely fill the room.

800 series speakers are more detailed and can handle volume better.

I love your Space

Wow! Thanks for the compliments! I’m really enjoying listening to the new-to-me 804s. The room is a weird shape and still adjusting speakers for optimal sound — it’s a process as y’all know.

@paulburnett The house is from the 1950s and the panels are original. I’m honestly not sure what type of wood it is but we love it. Glad you do, too!

Nice system!

If you don't mind my asking, how was the panelling on the wall done? It looks like it might be bamboo. It looks gorgeous!
