Description

This system has evolved quite a bit over the past 30+ years. I’ve grown up listening to Nelson Pass design since the mid-1980’s, and after numerous amplifier swap ins (including ASR hyped class D) over the years, I have always gone back to that Pass signature sound - and I adore it.
I have been A/B’ing two DACs for the past 12 months, Yggdrasil+ and a DAC9 - and would like to get that sorted out next. I also plan move up to a VPI Avenger Reference turntable some time in 2025. I’ll never find that elusive ‘end game’ system - and that makes me both happy and motivated.
Cables are Audio Sensibility Statement throughout, a Degritter Mark II ultrasonically cleans the vinyl, amps are on dedicated 20A circuits, and I use a Mac Mini and Roon for streaming. MiniDSP UMIK-2 and REW were, and still are, used for setup and room treatment.

I dig how you have the main gear not in the middle, as it should be. Hard to do though. Bet is sounds delish.
