My two channel set up. The mess is here, don’t be fooled, it’s just hidden behind the couch. So I’m a pretty budget conscious low to mid hifi guy. 47 now and 3 kids so there is that too.
My rule of thumb has been to never spend over a 1000 dollars on any pair of speakers or any one electronic. I broke that rule twice. I spent 1100 on my Vincent Monoblocks and 1600 on my Magnepan 3.6s that I drove to Owensboro KY and back to pick up on Super Bowl Sunday a few years back.
Thx Hank, kind of what I’m going for. Big fan of companies like monoprice, emotiva, outlaw, schiit, van alstine. Affordable and still sounds pretty darn good to my ears.
Well thought out great setup. Really like the room. Looks like a great place for family and friends to hang out or spend some time in the sweet spot enjoying your favorite music. Enjoy.
