Thanks for your feedback. I've since updated my system and will post new pictures soon.

I love the Cary 805. I've heard that they go very well with high efficiency speakers. I considering pairing he Cary with with the Avantgarde Uno's or Duo's.

I really like the Cary preamp because it has all the features I need. However, I like the Wavelength preamp a little bit more. I am thinking about trying out a Supratek or Cary SLP05 or another tube preamp with HT bypass, phono and remote control. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tip about turntable placement. I haven't noticed vibrational problems but I've reconfigured my system and moved the equipment further away from the speakers.

Your beginning is where many would love to end up. Great selection in gear. Your CARY preamp is what I am zeroing in on. It has the perfect features for what I would want for music and interfacing with some HT gear, along with a headphone output. ..Do you encounter any vibration problems with your turntable placed so near your speaker?
