    • Project Audio Debut III
I think this entry level turntable is the best budget turntable out there. I hope someone can recommend a good upgrade to the stock Ortofon OM5 cartridge.
    • Project Audio Speed Box II
I purchased the Speed Box so that it would be easier to play 45s. It also stabilizes the turtable's speed. I have not listened to my Pls without it so I can't comment on what difference it makes in terms of sound quality.
    • Bellari VP-129
This phono pre had so many great reviews that I had to give it a try. Replaced my Parasound Z-Phono. The Bellari adds warmth and is very quite. This is my first piece of tube gear.
    • Oppo DV-980H
Highly rated and modest price makes this a no brainer for small budgets.
    • Arcam FMJ C30
I got this used. It's a great sounding Pre. Good match with my HCA-2. Has a pretty good Phono and Headphone section built in.
    • PS Audio HCA-2 Cullen Circuits Mod
This is my favourite piece of gear. It sounds wonderful and it's great value. It's been modified by Rick Cullen of Cullen Circuits.
    • Sonus Faber Concerto
Purchased used with rock solid lead shot filled Franklin & Lowell stands. No fatigue even after long listening sessions.
