My goal with this system - organic, enveloping sound that elicits an emotional connection with music. I realize now that I should have put more effort into sources (analog and digital) from the beginning.
@charles007100 He travels a lot displaying at shows and doing home installs. But I ensure you he’s very responsive when in office. Note that these are custom, made to order servers so the build could take months depending on his backorder log. Worth the wait if you want the performance IMO. I’d recommend getting a cheap used Innuos if you need something in the interim. I had a Zenith Mk3 previously, which was pretty good. However, LDMS is another level.
I was excited to get the Lucas Audio Labs streamer going but I just got a email yesterday from him, it’s been days since I emailed him so I am still looking for a streamer…
Thanks a lot for those pictures,I couldn’t find any pictures on the internet, it’s crazy some companies want huge money for their streamers and there is nothing in the box, it’s very nice and neat in the Lucas box.
I will have a conversation with him and see what I can come up with.
Thanks so much for all the trouble I caused you taking the lid off..you are the best..
@charles007100 LOVE my LDMS. And of course I had to pop the top to check out the internals. I just added a few photos. Check out the massive polished copper plate at the bottom, that was an added option to drop the noise floor even lower.
My only regret is not getting more storage. I opted for 4 TB instead of 8 TB. In my experience stored content sounds better than streamed. I'll likely add this in the future.
@bugredmachine the ARC amps and Sasha are a magical combination. I previously tried Pass Labs but the ARC are better in every way in my setup. Congrats on your Alexia’s, some of the best speakers I’ve ever heard.
Very nice. Really like the flooring you chose. How do the AR's work with the Sasha's? I went back and forth on new DAW's versus used Alexia's for quite some time. I had to go big this time around.
