Hi, I'm considering buying a pair of the Xindak F-S Gold speaker cables,.. but cant help be a little wary, I know it shouldnt make any difference just because its made in china, but I need convincing, the list price on their web site is co cheap, could you give any coments on how they are traveling and if your happy with your purhase. cheers goodo
Another Green Mountain Audio user! very cool! And good to know that some others also exist. I have the smaller C1.5i & I bet that these C-3 speakers sound really very good?! Do you personally think that 50W/ch is sufficient to bring the best from this speaker? BTW, did Roy have any comments/suggestions re the GM70-C3 combination?
ok, Tom. I'll be sure to post a through analysis of the Merc 2.
I found that even though my system is "pretty good" running direct from the Audio Aero Capitole MK II (SE version) into the fully modded Berning ZH270 tubed amp, it needs a high quality preamp to be "special."
Artg It is "dreamy". I look forward to writing a review in about a month. The APL 3910 does have a non-decimating volume control. I have been consumed with the thought of what it might sound like with the Mercury 2. I will eagerly await your initial observation of the Mercury 2. I beleive deHavilland is a not-for-long secret in high-end-audio. These are serious players at a fraction of the cost.
No preamp? Im not faniliar with the APL, does it have a volume adjustable output stage? Ever try it with a preamp? Im about to try the new deHavilland Mercury 2 preamp in my system. They are an amazing smaller company with a loyal small but grwing following - how do you ike that amp?
