We moved into our dream home this past September (2021) and the main system still has to be built (more on that build in a later post!) So, this is the dream office system that I have been building/saving over the years as it gives me flexibility to play pretty much anything I need to get thru the day and still enjoy the sound, save for the two desk monitors that mess up imaging. But hey, I still feel pretty blessed to have this set up. In a few pictures you might catch that there is a Mytek DAC under the Benchmark DAC. I wasn't sure which was I was going to go with, but the Benchmark does a fine job for this application even though the MyteK is just SO easy to use AND it looks AMAZING lit up, but only one can stay so the Mytek will be listed for sale very soon.
Now THIS thing is HIGH END!! Well, not really - its crap, but its great for when the internet goes down (which is A LOT!) and I'm too busy to flip vinyl.

Main system is primarily a 2 channel set up, currently another Parasound JC2BP, a pair of JC-1 amps a VPI HR-X with a Benz Micro LP-S and another Sutherland 20/20 phono pre w/LPS. B&W 800D2 in gloss black. The plan is to merge the 2 channel with home theater duties. Center channel is the B&W HTM2D2, processor is the Marantz AV8802a and all power is from Parasound (A-51 & A-21) plus a pair of SVS SB13-ULTRA subs, surrounds are 2 pair of Def. Tech BPX - still need to get Atmos speakers (B&W most likely) and another pair of SVS subs (SB16 Ultras). The room, which still has to be built, is to be 17' x 24' if all goes well. Seating for 7. The plan is to have it ready before Thanksgiving this year...we'll see. Stay tuned!
