VPI Industries Scout

I am the original owner of this Scout, purchased in 2009 from Music Direct as a B-Stock unit. The only reason I can see for it being a B-Stock unit is the paint job in the plinth is not completely smooth. It looks like there’s a texture in the paint.
Other than the normal mark on the tonearm from the armrest, I can’t see any other issues.

The turntable operates as it should, and will come complete with original boxes, instruction manuels, VPI Alignment gauge and dust cover as shown in pics.

***Note-The Wally Tractor is made for a Rega Tonearm, but the VPI JMW9 arm has the same geometry as the Rega. I confirmed this with J.R. at WAM Engineering***

***Also note, (full disclosure) when removing the cart shown in some of the pics, I damaged a couple of the clips and had to replace them. I tested the replacements, and they are working as they should.***

All totaled, this package comes in at $2,288.00 retail in 2009. At my asking price, this is a substantial discount from the original retail. And as far as I can tell, the current version of this turntable retails in the $3000.00 range.
