Bryston 4B3 Cubed Power Amplifier in Black. Free Shipping

Hello. I have owned this amp for about 6 months, now. I bought it from the original owner who had it since 2019 meaning that there’s still 15 years of warranty left. Got to love that! This replaced a Bryston 3B SST2 I had. The 3B had that Bryson signature sound. Amazing grip on the bass with a very uncolored presentation – just passing the signal along.

The 4B3 is a little bit of a different animal. Of course, it has a lot more power and current. Absolutely limitless dynamics. A real beast in that department. Where they differ is in the overall sound. The 4B3 has just a touch of richness and sweetness. Just a touch. If you thought that previous Bryston amps were a bit dry, the 4B3 is not. Absolutely the finest amplifier I have ever owned, and I have owned well over 50. I recently acquired a highly efficient set of speakers and want to try tubes. Obviously, this amp is way overkill for 93db efficiency speakers. I am only using 5% of this amp, most likely.

The condition is excellent. There are a few marks on the tops of the heat sinks. Noting too bad. The face is perfect.

This amp is rated at 300 watts per channel into 8 Ohms and 500 watts per channel into 4 Ohms. It will also go mono.
