The Sansui 9090DB offers advanced technology in a stereo AM/FM receiver.

It features a 125wpc power amplifier section, direct readout power meters, an AM/FM analogue tuner, Dolby noise reduction circuit, Bass, Midrange and Treble controls (defeatable), two tape loops and a Moving Magnet Phono stage. The 9090DB weighs in at 52 pounds with its power section accounting for most of its heft and occupying much of its 330-square-inch footprint. The amplifier boasts a full complementary output topology with eight output transistors and a RMS power rating of 125 watts/channel into 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with no more than 0.1% total harmonic distortion (THD); overall frequency response is spec’d at 10Hz to 30kHz ±1dB. Regarded as one of the best receivers of the 1970s, the 9090DB is highly sought after to this day and commands prices upwards of  three thousand, depending on condition and the level of restoration. This receiver has a level 3 restoration and sounds amazing. It's a amazing piece from the 1970 receiver wars and stacks up to most of the 70's receivers. As much as I don't want to let it go I need to start culling the heard. I have more into this unit than I'm selling it for but hopefully the buyer will enjoy it as much as I have. The tech who performed the restoration is one of the best but doesn't want me putting his name on any ads. You won't be disappointed.
