Antipodes Audio KALA 22 (K22) Music Server-Streamer in Silver Finish / Free Fedex Shipping to US

I am the original owner this K22 purchased directly from Antipodes Audio, New Zealand. This K22 is the latest G4 version that sound much better that the previous version. I received it in August 2023 so is less than 1 year old, it is in mint conditions with very low hours of use due to lack of time to enjoy my system. Mostly used around 4 to 5 hours during weekends since I don’t have time during working days. This K22 was installed in my audio rack, in my dedicated audio room, from day one and never moved from there (no pet, no child, no smoke). Only selling to move up to Oladra. I have been using it as streamer only by using the KALA 41 for server duties and they sound so good that I would like to upgrade. The KALA 41 will be also for sale later as well. It can be used as streamer only by using a separate server (the way I am using it) but in the meantime, can be used as a complete solution, streamer + server. See online review as well, the usb output sound much better with this version but I still prefer the reclocking outputs.

The KALA 22 is an incredible performer at its price, delivering levels of musical insight not found in most price-no-object music server-streamers. It even gets very close to the performance of the amazing KALA 50 provided you do not require it to house a very large library, or to perform DSP functions. If your priority is to be immersed in gorgeous sound and feel the emotional pull of your music, then the KALA 22 will delight you. The KALA 22 cannot run the HQPlayer Server App, but it does support HQPlayer NAA. All other apps in our software suite are supported, with the exception of the DSP features within the apps.
The KALA 22 uses a single custom computer for both Server and Player apps. The Server/Player computer is derived from the Player computer in the KALA 50 but with increased processing resources. The KALA 22 outputs are the same as for the KALA 50, except that Ethernet streaming to your DAC is over your network (the KALA 50 and KALA 41 additionally provide Direct Streaming). The medium-power Server/Player computer controls what is played and allows you to play over your network to multiple end-points, and to the DAC in your main system by USB, S/PDIF, AES3 & I2S.
