Mcintosh MC275 Serial# ABP3635

Up for sale is one of my two MC275 tube amps.  Serial number# ABP3635.  I am the first owner.  I bought them 5 years ago at Magnolia.  I do not have the time or energy to enjoy music anymore, so it is time to let them go for others to enjoy.  These amps are solidly heavy and beautiful to look at, and the music they produce is warm and silky smooth.   The background noise is zero, absolutely absent.  When paired with Martin Logan electrostatic speakers, which I am also selling in another listing, they produce smooth and airy music like a whisper in the wind.  The music is so soft that I can fall asleep even while listening to the Metallica album.  I can sum up in a few words as power, and clarity but not harsh nor overwhelming.   

Cosmetic condition is Very Good.  Functional condition is Excellent.  

I've always kept these amps on my AV rack in a conditioning, non-smoking room.  Some of the letters have disappeared, maybe I was cleaning a bit hard.  

If pay by credit, please add 3% more for the credit card processing fee.  Otherwise, I prefer the good old money order method.
