Pair of Maggie 3.6s with custom crossovers and Mye stands
Crossovers were built by previous owner, specs available on request.
This was my first exposure to Maggies so I do not know how they compare to stock; previous owner reported spectacular improvement in sound. The midrange and treble are excellent; the bass is well-defined but limited . I ran them with a pair of subwoofers. The Mye stands significantly improved detail.
The crossovers use parts from Northcreek Audio. All the wiring is silver . The inductor coils are 9 gauge over 5 lbs each, 3 for each speaker. The cost of the crossovers and silver wire is reported as $ 1700.00. Crossover boxes are set up for bi-wire. Crossover components include Zen High Performance caps, Crescendo film and foil caps, and polystyrene bypass caps ( 14 caps per side ).
