Have been a long Devialet Expert fan over the years and has gone up the chain from the Devialet Expert Range (Expert 200 -> Expert 400 -> Expert 800 -> Expert Pro 1000).
WIth every step there was a noticeable SQ improvements, the Expert Pro 1000 is definitely a significant jump from the prior models as it is the pinnacle and flagship unit from Devialet.
With 1000W continuous power and sweet class A preamp stage, you get best of both world. Hence, they pair well with most speakers as they are transparent and dynamic, yet remained musical and natural. I have used prior Devialet with Focal Utopia, Magico S3, Spendor SP200, TAD CR1 and they all sounding sensational.

I have used it for HT integration, subwoofer integration myself. The current firmware can even do the room acoustic DSP if ones desire.
The units were purchased from an Australian retailer in April 2021 (ex demo).
