Vandersteen model 2W subwoofer

Vandersteen 2W powered subwoofer in very good condition.  Oak cabinet and black cloth cover are free from damage.  The 2W has 3 downward facing eight inch drivers driven by built-in 300 watt amplifier.  This design utilizes a high pass filter (that must be matched to the input impedance of your amplifier) inserted between preamp and amplifier, and the subwoofer is connected in parallel with the main speakers.  The built-in subwoofer amp samples the main speaker input, amplifies the low frequency signal for output.  The result is very controlled bass that is well integrated with the main speaker output.  This item weighs approximately 80 pounds, so local pickup would be a good option if buyer is in the midwest.

The Vandersteen 2W crossover - adjustable to match your amps input impedance, with RCA connectors for single ended systems.
A pair of Vandersteen 20k X-2 filters - inline high pass filters for use with amplifiers with input impedance around 20k, with RCA connectors.
