An amazing DAC, and in absolutely cherry condition, this TotalDAC D1 Unity w/Live Power is an end-game for most people. It's also been a brilliant DAC in my own rig for the last few months, and has lovingly produced some of the most natural harmonically rich and accurate digital I've been lucky enough to hear.

I'm heading in a different direction due to system synergy, and some major choices/additions to my main rig, and while I genuinely love what this DAC does, I need to move on from it to make way for the next layer.

While there are some verdant, extremely detailed reviews available - and I'll post what I feel to be the most accurate one below (Twittering Machines) - but the D1 Unity, especially when paired with the Live Power power supply, lands in that liminal place between resolution and tonal wealth.

It is every bit as layered, dynamically snappy, and focused as one could want for large scale classical reproduction, but also harmonically dense, fleshy - beautiful.

And it leverages a huge amount of technology to get there (dual buffering FPGA's, packed with 100 Vishay Foil resistors per side, offboard power supplies to limit the noise floor, and a huge copper plate to dampen vibrations, to name a few), while being simple to operate, and aesthetically refreshingly sublime.

I've found that AES tends to offer the overall best reproduction in my own context, but your own source may perform better over USB. I'd recommend exploring your options!

Pricing for this mint set (the plastic still adorns the faceplate!) is set fair but firm, so please, no lowball offers.
