I have recently upgraded to a new Lumin product, so time to sell this one. Original buyer / one owner. Kept on a rack shelf in a smoke free home. Legit 9/10 condition. No noticeable scratches, marks or dents. With all of the original boxes, manuals, power cord, dust covers, white gloves and packaging materials to ensure it will arrive safely to your location (triple boxed).
Fully functional, just play tested before packing it up. Upgraded to the most recent the latest firmware.
Combo digital streamer / DAC which has been highly regarded and recommended (even by other brands ie. Denafrips). Roon ready but can also support Spotify connect, Tidal, Airplay etc. Wonderful piece of equipment which can be plugged directly into an amp (ie does not need a pre-amp w/ Leedh volume control). Incredible brand support with Lumin staff frequently posting and answering questions in all the usual hifi / audiophile forums.
I also have an unopened / brand new / never used third party "S-booster" power supply designed for this unit which I can also include. If interested, please get in touch.

| Nubie here but in So Cal. Have a Lumin D1 Connected to Mcintosh 2300 preamp on to Mc302 amp.Question ! will I notice an improvement in sound with the T2 over D1? Question 2 Is it better to connect directly to amp vs preamp? Ed Hi! Quick Answer - in theory, yes, should sound better - but it all depends on the equipment etc. The T2 had several upgrades from the D1. A quick google shoes that folks thought it sounded "miles better". You could experiment with connecting direct vs preamp. I had mine connected directly to the amp and used the built in Leedh control. |
| Hi, Is there ever network issues. i have heard that the T2 sometimes has a loss of signal or jitter. is that a problem? what does the booster do? will it protct from power surges? how much for booster and is price on unit negotiable say 2000? I had zero network issues. It's a hardwired ethernet connection. S Booster in theory creates a more isolated "quiet" power supply / source. Wether that actually is the case is a frequently debated talking point. At this point in time I would not negotiate on the price.

#1 - Yes, you HAVE to connect it to an amp (it is a DAC & Streamer but it would need to connect to an amp, it has several connections both XLR and RCA
#2 Booster is easy to connect. It is not free with purchase. Let me know if you would be interested in adding that
#3 I purchased the T2 brand new from a local Socal shop in Nov 2021 and used it as my primary streamer / DAC until July 2023 (when I upgraded). I held on to for a few months, just in case I wanted to go back, as I prefer the T2 for certain genres. Finally decided to sell last few months.
