JBL Synthesis SDP-55 16-Channel AV Processor OPEN BOX (w/ 8K/HDMI 2.1 board upgrade!)

THIS UNIT HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH THE NEW 8K HDMI2.1 board that is in the SDP-58!   Unit is still under warranty. Purchased from authorized JBL Synthesis dealer. This is an UNUSED SDP-55, which was basically taken out of the box a couple years ago after moving to a new apartment, but never put into action. It has never been connected to an amp or any other gear. It’s basically just sat on its shelf after opening box. I went through a divorce and never got to re-implementing my home theater as I had originally planned after moving into a new place at the time. The only single issue with the unit is that there are a couple of circular color variations/faded on the top of a chassis as a result of placing an Apple TV on top of the unit as it sat unboxed on its stand.  It has a circular rubber base.. See the last pictures. The circles can only been seen by looking straight above and down under the right lighting. It is nothing noticeable with unit in use. Obviously 0 effect on function. I am not sure if the circles can be cleaned, but looks like some fading caused by rubber on bottom of Apple TV 4K.  It may be removable with a metal polish, but not even worth the trouble likely.  The unit was literally only turned on and then turned off  to validate function.

I’ll ship this item ground with insurance and declared value. I will also assist with any warranty service if ever necessary.  Unit will ship in original box with all original accessories which are ALL unused. Most of the accessories aren’t even removed from the package.
