Japanese Custom made Sanei UV-845 Single Ended Tube Amplifier with all Tango Transformers 845 or 211

I am selling one of the best sounding and best looking single Ended Triode tube amps that I have the pleasure owning - the Sanei (Japan) UV-845 Transformer Interstaged Coupled Single Ended Triode (SET) Tube amplifier which has been modified to run both 211 and 845 output tubes. Sanei used the same Tango Output transformer with 10K Primary impedance for the UV-845 model with 845 tube and UV-211 model with the 211 tube. All transformers are very rare and exotic Tango transformers except for the bucking transformers to convert from 120V to 100V AC.

The original fixed bias version of the Sanei UV-845 amp is designed for use with the 845 tubes but with some minor modifications to the bias circuitry, the UV-845 can run both the 845 and 211 tubes at the proper biasing settings. So, I modified the bias circuitry to run either 845 tubes or 211 output tubes. I also made custom bias meter to go with this amp so biasing is a snap. I will send the proper biasing instructions for the 845 and 211 output tubes.

The original Tango MS-UVD power transformer is designed for the Japan 100V AC line power and required an external step down transformer.

So, I decided it is easier and better to add a proper step down transformer (bucking transformer) internally to use with the 120V USA power lines.

The bucking transformers reduce 20V AC line voltage internally so the Tango Power Transformer always see 100V input thus everything is running as it is originally designed.

This amplifier weights close to 100lbs and it will be packed carefully!

Cosmetics condition is very good. It's not NEW and it has some minor imperfections such as scratches and so on. Please look at the pictures.

The asking price is fair considering the cost of the transformers along worth more than 5K.

Again, I prefer this amp goes to a good home! It works very reliably and all you need to do is replacing the output tubes (845 / 211) about every 1000-2000 hours depending on the type and the brand of tubes you use.
