(BTW, I started off with the Gryphon Diablo 120 but I actually ended up buying a Gryphon Diablo 300 from him, but that a story for another time.) Again, an excellent retailer.

He had cables built for my existing turntable so that I could use it with the new preamp. Shipping was fast and Chuang did an excellent job communicating with me every step of the way. Chu is a highly recommended seller. We agreed to price and terms for a used Gryphon Pandora Preamp and Gryphon Antileon EVO amp. Then we noticed there was a problem on the case of the preamp, that combo was a no go. Chu then found me a second used EVO. I wired the full amount. He brought the amp in, and at my request had the power inlets changed to IEC C19s. When it came back the self-test light showed a problem within the amp. Chu was upset with his customer service, and said he would buy me a new unit. I was thinking “new” meaning a “different” used amp. Chu really meant NEW as that is what I ended up with, a brand new EVO amp. This is an honest and thorough seller. If he did not test the amp one more time before he sent it to me I’d be in trouble. Chu could have easily sent me the broken amp and claimed it happened during shipping. Chu has shown me that he only does the right thing by his customers! It was hard for me to wire tens of thousands of dollars to Taiwan not knowing the dealer/seller. It turned out, even through several challenges, to be a great experience. Over 113 positive transactions on Audiogon says something as well. Highly recommended!

Terrific dealer: this was the most expensive audio piece I’d ever purchased, so I was somewhat leery about ordering from a dealer in Asia.
