This is a proof of Concept turntable for the curious, a 100-pound Classic Lenco (Plain & Simple) which is to say the model which launched the Lenco into the stratosphere in early days, as developed by years of refinements and improvements, without touching the original recipe. In those early days this recipe, without the ensuing development, matched and outperformed the world's best, those being especially the SME 30 and the Forsell Air Reference turntables. Customers routinely mounted the world's best tonearms of the day: SME V, Dynavector DV-507 MKII, Triplanars, Graham Phantoms.
This model will come with the revolutionary new grease bearing, which effectively doubles the sound quality of all my models, meaning buyers will find it very difficult to find its match anywhere.
