SMc Audio VRE-1C

For sale is a rare SMc VRE-1C Reference Preamplifier.  

Steve McCormack’s tour de force linestage. No detail ignored. Built with the best hand-selected parts for sound quality. The case is made from non-resonant Corian. Each single-ended input is run through a dedicated transformer to convert the signal to balanced. A pair of custom XLR>RCA adapters is included to allow connecting two balanced sources. Separate power supply uses a Plitron transformer and Lundahl chokes.

1 careful owner and condition is mint. Units are lightly used. Operation and performance are flawless.
