For sale is a McIntosh C28 preamplifier with it's original box and packaging in very good condition. We have tested and cleaned this unit thoroughly and it was looked after very carefully by the original owner, excellent working condition. The faceplate is in great condition and the schematic on the top plate is in intact. Cosmetically, it is in nice shape with some minor blemishes, scratches and dings mostly on the sides of the face. All blemishes can be seen in the photos.
The C28 was made between 1970-1975. Each channel of the C28 has four parts: low level amplifier, high level amplifier, active filer and headphone amplifier. A beautiful piece of equipment that has the classic McIntosh faceplate and sound quality.
