Probably the most flexible home theater amp ever built. The TAS has (5) 200+ watt (8ohm) or (5) 400+ watt (4 ohm) channels that are currently set as individual channels however they can be rearranged as duplicate channels or bridged. The amp has 2 massive 2KW transformers, 108,000 uf of capacitance, and pure class A input and driver stages although the output stage is class AB. I used this amp rarely in an extra theater room in the house, it was elevated for good cooling although it never really ran very hot.
