We have for sale our Demo pair of Sonus Faber Sonetto V floorstanders in Walnut finish.
These are for sale to make room for the new G2 Sonetto V’s which just came out. These we have for sale were $4995 / pair MSRP, and the new G2’s are now $6495 /pair, so you now have a chance to own a Sonetto V pair at a very reasonable price of 3750 as shown above.
We give them a 9/10 condition, which could have gone higher perhaps.
A beautiful pair of speakers for most any décor, however, it is the Musicality that really sets these apart from others in their price point. The tonal balance on these seems quite perfect. The typical Sonus Faber mid to upper mid-range beauty is there, the tweeter has the right warmth with no brightness, and the base has the punch and extension that one would want with a $5 K pair of speakers.
We have played these with Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum tube integrated and the match was excellent. We paired them with McIntosh MC 462 Solid State Integrated along with McIntosh 2700 tube preamp and again, very nice match. At one point we even paired them to the extreme with the prior version Dan D’Agostino Momentum Integrated Amplifier and the Sonetto V’s simply shined by sharing a little more detail that the amp could provide over the lesser amps.
