Classic McIntosh receiver from the mid to late 1980s, 100 watts of pure Mc Legacy – only 1,200 of these units were made. This is a one owner unit which was very lightly used as a second system in a vacation home. All inputs have been tested and are good.
Cosmetically it is in great shape, no issues with the wood sides and only the smallest of paint chips on the top near the wooden panel and is only really noticeable when the wood panels are removed (see pictures). The only issue I have found is that the mute button is apparently not working. This is simply resolved by de-selecting the speaker input if mute is desired.
I have new McIntosh double factory boxes so this unit can ship safely anywhere in the US.
This is a great price for this receiver and the family is boarder-line reluctant to sell so please avoid sending low ball offers.
