A gorgeous set of two matching Vandersteen 2Ci speakers. Excellent condition, walnut finish. This speaker is a legend in the audio world. In continuous production since 1977, this pair is from 1992 and has the improved midrange driver. Other drivers are a 1” tweeter, a powered 8” woofer and a 10” passive driver. The time-aligned driver array results in a tightly focused and extremely lifelike soundstage. This is all a LONG way of saying these are FANTASTIC sounding speakers-WAY better than others costing many times more. I’ve loved owning these, and they will bring glorious music to you! Includes a set of two original Vandersteen stands that can be filled with sand. Speakers will be shipped in their original boxes, with the dimensions and weight listed in the description. I have a third box for the stands. It measures 20” X 20” X 21” and weighs 20 lb. Includes the original manual, an original sales brochure, spikes and jumpers. Buyer pays all shipping please. I am interested but about as far away as possible (Seattle). 2 ?’s: 1. Are you confident the original boxes will ship okay or would they need double box? 2: would you be able to help with shipping $$? When I wrote the ad, I had it listed for local pick up only. When I listed shipping, I wasn’t clear that the buyer will be paying all of the shipping. They are two boxes for the speakers and a third box that’s 20“ x 20“ x 21“ and it weighs 20 pounds. we can load that into the UPS shipping calculator, but I don’t have your ZIP Code if you want to try that, and take a look at the shipping prices and then get back to me, that will be fine. these are the original boxes, they’re in pretty good shape, but I was going to wrap extra tape around them about every foot just to reinforce them a little bit more.
