This listing is for a pair of B&W 702 S2 full-range loudspeakers in Rosenut finish.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: These speakers are in excellent physical and working condition. They were previously demo items in an audiophile store; the Rosenut finish has not been exposed to sunlight. The included plinths were never unpacked. These speakers are in their original boxes and packaging.
SHIPPING: Local pickup is available. Otherwise, speakers will be palletized and shipped via UPS Freight, signature required. Orders normally ship within 1-3 business days after payment is received. We only ship to the United States and we do not ship to PO boxes.
PAYMENT: PayPal (which includes credit cards through PayPal Services).
SALES TAX: Sales tax will not be charged for out of state transactions. Indiana sales tax of 7% will be charged for in-state purchases.
POLICIES: All sales are final. Items are sold As-Is. We guarantee that the item is in good working condition.

Since these were DEMO units do they qualify for the B&W 5 year warranty
to the new buyer? I have gotten an answer that this pair of speakers would not qualify for a warranty. However, I must say that these are passive speakers, well-cared for. They will last and perform well for another two decades. |
Can these speakers be used without the plinths installed? I only have about 10.5 inches between my entertainment center and the wall where these speakers will go so not sure I will have room to install the plinths. I didn't know if there was some sound that came out the bottom, like some of the newer models have and sound would be impacted by not installing the plinths. Also, do you know the dimensions of just the speakers. I can't find this information on line anywhere. Thanks Great question! These can be played without the plinths without significant impact to the sound. As you referenced above, recent B&W models have a downward facing base port. These speakers do not have that design, in the photos you can see the base port on the rear above the terminals. |
