Extremely Rare Find!! This Tube Technology Unisis Signature with Phono input was manufactured in 2012 in England, UK. Originally purchased in Canada the unit has not been used and is in a sealed box. It is supplied with a custom Bias Meter, and velvet Dust Cover.
A fantastic amplifier, by all accounts. I also own another one, which I still use. This particular unit was purchased for another room but was never used in the end. It uses EL84 tubes for the output stage. The fully separate preamplifier is housed internally with an all tube MM phono stage and separate power supply.
It sounds fantastic, with a healthy 35 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It really works well with all types of speakers, with efficiency ratings down to about 88dB/W.
Excellent fast, tight and clean bass. Very engaging, musical, micro detailed with superb imaging. It was probably the most well known product produced by Tube Technology. It always received excellent reviews back in the day. I paid approx. $5200 US dollars in 2012.
It looks excellent, so compact and neat looking. Very easy to check and replace tubes with the custom bias meter. Dimensions of the Unisis are 13.75 x 8.75 x 8.5” (w,d,h). 35 lbs.
