Fi magazine Jan./Feb. 1996

This is a copy of Fi magazine's first issue, still in its original, sealed plastic mailing bag.  I guess I was on the right mailing lists, because I somehow received two copies of the premier issue of this well-liked but short-lived audiophile magazine.  It features well-known audio writers of that time such as Ken Kessler, Jonathan Valin and Dick Olsher.  Reviews include gear by CAT, Theta, Marantz, Parasound, Rega and Jadis.  Notable articles include an interview with Michael Tilson Thomas, retrospects on Glen Gould and Jimi Hendrix, Dick Olsher's survey of cables and an article on Mosaic Records (see photo for complete contents; this is obviously from the copy I opened).

This is so rare that no results about this magazine appeared in a Google search or on eBay.  I'm giving my fellow Audiogoners first dibs at this;  if I get no response, I'll put it on eBay and elsewhere.
