The Super Rail employs higher voltage rails prior to the output stage, allowing the musical signal to exploit the full capability of the output voltage rails. This results in improved dynamics, lower distortion, and a powerful grip on the speaker.Housed in an elegant, anodized Aluminum chassis, the Progression Stereo features a 2,000 VA power supply transformer coupled with nearly 100,000 microfarads of power supply storage capacitance. Its fully complementary driver stage and output circuitry, equipped with 48 power transistors (24 each for left and right channels), generate an imposing output. The amplifier delivers 350 Watts into 8 Ohms, 700 Watts into 4 Ohms, and properly doubles its output again into 2 Ohms, reaching a substantial 1,400 Watts. Dynamic contrasts in live music are faithfully reproduced, with leading-edge transients spectacularly depicted.
Inspired by classic Swiss watches, the front features an exposed movement power meter with two 90° needle swing arms.
