McIntosh Mac 1900

​​​​​​Very nice example of what many consider the first truly high-end receiver offered by McIntosh. 1st was the Mac 1500(tubed with s/s preamp), then the Mac 1700 (hybrid s/s with tubed tuner). Then the 1900(all s/s). My 1st system was a 1700, Larger Advents with an AR xa turntable. I still miss that tuner! Around 1990, I used my Mac 1700 as a trade in for this Mac 1900 from "Audio Classics" in NY. As the 2nd owner I have enjoyed it ever since! It has only been serviced once, around 2013.It was thoroughly inspected and tested.  (Caps,grounds,bulbs,transistors,cleaning). This work was completed by a certified McIntosh dealer, "Stereo Shop" in Hartford Ct. I have the receipt. Recently been in rotation in my system along with my Rogue Audio Pharaoh for a while now and still sounds and functions beautifully. Sale includes original walnut cabinet, (slant legs) in nice condition, original shipping container (box in box), owners and service manuals. Cabinet will ship in separate box. Rated 8/10 only because off age.
