Rogers LS3-5a speakers

For your consideration is my matched pair of original Rogers LS3/5A monitors in Walnut finish, serial numbers 1498A and 1498B. I am the original owner and have kept them in near-mint condition since their purchase. Electrically and sonically perfect, their quality has been extensively praised in many reviews, ensuring their place in the Valhalla of all-time classic loudspeaker designs. The vaunted LS3/5A has been endlessly imitated by lesser manufacturers, but these are the genuine article: the original, famous, classic studio reference used for monitoring by no less an authority in sound recording and playback than the BBC. Bass response is nothing less than astonishing considering their size, and their reference-quality balance is smooth, accurate, and resonance-free. The original LS3/5A is not merely the very best of its size ever produced by anyone, anywhere, it will also surpass many larger loudspeakers for realism and satisfying musicality. 

Showing only very minor signs of wear (see pictures), these monitors have very low hours and were operated quite conservatively, after which they were carefully boxed and stored in a climate-controlled environment. All of the original packaging is provided, and it is unlikely you will ever find a pair in better shape than this offering.
