Price reduction! I have sold a very large amount of high end products on Audiogon throughout the past severals years, and have achieved a 100 % positive feedback on EACH transaction.
I am the original owner and have kept this silver Aegir in immaculate condition.
This Aegir can be used in a stereo mode outputting 40 watts per channel (see Stereophile review below) or as a monoblock outputting 70 watts, and has earned an enviable reputation among high-end audiophiles.
For example, the following is from Stereophile:
...."What makes the Schiit Audio Aegir so special is how it generates class-D-like force and clarity plus the information-dense refinements of class-A. And how, at $799, it could dare to sound as lifelike as it does. The Aegir struck me as a design that will withstand and even rejoice in the scrutiny of time. Unless you need more power or have an uncontrollable urge to spend more money, I can think of no arguments against Schiit's innovative Aegir.."
