Acapella High Violon 2001 Suboktav Bass Horn Speakers with Plasma Tweeters.

This is the Mk III, fully loaded version of these classic speakers (the High version has upgraded silver wiring, upgraded crossover parts, additional internal bracing while the Suboctave version adds an internal woofer working in an isobaric configuration). 

The Acapella plasma tweeters are the best tweeters in the world. The Violons use the same exact tweeters as the top of the line $1 million Acapella Sphaeron and the same midrange horn as in the $210k Acapella Triolon.

Finished in gorgeous dark metallic green. Good condition with a few flaws in the finish, nothing major. I do have the original wooden crates. 

The plasma tweeters have brand new plasma cells, electrodes and tubes installed, with less than 50 hours of play time. An estimated life of the electrodes is 5,000 hours. I have another brand new set of plasma cells/electrodes and tubes that will be included in this sale.

The latest version of these speakers (Mk VI) sells for $75,000.
