Rotel RDV 1080

This is an estate sale find that can be described as NOS - new old stock. It has seen very little use and no use in the last 4-6 years. The condition is mint. I can find no imperfections.

It is one of the rare CD/DVD players that is full featured and has outstanding reviews for sound quality. The sound quality received rare reviews at the original price of $1500!

1. Progressive scan.
2. Optical and coax outputs. (This means that it can be used as a transport with a outboard DAC or can be directly connected to most computers.)
3. MLP - Meridian Lossless Packing.
4. Auto voltage selector 110 - 240V.
5. Parental lock.
6. Component video.
7. Programmable remote that can control your TV.
8. Detachable two prong power cable. This creates an upgrade path. (Audioquest offers four reasonably priced two prong cables. I'm sure that other cable makers do as well.)

All of my components are tested and treated with DeOxit for better performance and reliability. This is by far the best deal on the net. You can find one at $399 but it's missing the remote.
