Dynaco Stereo 400 Series II Amplifier

LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.   I picked up this seldom seen Dynaco amp second hand.  After purchasing, I had John Hillig of Musical Concepts replace the big caps and the other electrolytic caps.  Replacing the bigger caps required moving the transformer a bit back, but there were no other modifications other than the mentioned recapping.  There was an odd little outward(?) dent in the top (see picture) when I purchased it.  This amp has a unique switch on the front that toggles between “normal” and “high current” mode.  This amps easily drives my Magnepan 1.6QR speakers, and sounds great.  I’m only getting rid of it because of consolidating amps when I expanded to a fully balanced 9.5.6 home theater setup.
