This pair of VPA Pure Class A Triode Monoblock amplifiers has 50 Watts per channel and are sheathed in machined-aluminum towers with custom bases. The highly sophisticated design incorporates state-of-the-art components using directly-heated thoriated tungsten triode power output vacuum tubes. In addition, the VPA uses balanced circuitry from input to output to minimize intermodulation distortion and phase shift as well as decreasing the need for internal feedback. The high precision, illuminated Nagra Load Match Meter on each mono-block amplifier allows the owner to check the perfect operation of the 845 output tubes and to match each VPA's output precisely with the speakers. The amplifiers have new tubes ($500.00/each).
These mono-block amplifiers were sent to Switzerland in 2020 and underwent a full and complete service to bring them back to original factory specs (see documents below).
