Mark Levinson / Madrigal Audio Labs Auxiliary Cooling Enclosure (No 433, 436, etc.) + shelf

Up for sale is a rare Madrigal Audio Labs / Mark Levinson Auxiliary Cooling Enclosure. Also included is a MidAtlantic rack shelf. This unit was designed to help keep Mark Levison 400 Series amplifiers (especially No. 436) cool while living in a rack enclosure. It will work fine with any rack mounted amplifier (not just Mark Levinson), however the paint, text and LED match the Mark Levinson 400 series amplifiers. I would say the unit is in excellent condition, the front panel does not appear to have any flaws and there is just barely a blemish on the top which might come off with a mild solvent, though you will not see the top cover while the unit is in a rack anyway. Included is a power supply and remote sensor which has 45C trip temperature. There is also a 'dummy' sensor which will keep the whisper-silent fans on all the time. Or, the remote sensor can be disconnected, which will result in the internal temperature sensor being utilized. Very flexible! Alternative temperature sensors can be fairly easily wired up if a different temperature threshold is desired. Also included is a Mid Atlantic rack shelf (shown in one of the photos) to situate the unit on if mounting it via the rack ears is not desirable.
