Working Condition: The amp has been serviced/restored by an amazing technician here in Los Angeles, Blackie Pagano. We have documentation of the repairs/service. Sounds amazing!!

Physical Condition: All lettering/numbers on the chrome chasis have fade out (please see photos).

McIntosh 240..curve trace test all tubes for spec and replace as necessary.
Clean and tighten all pots, connectors, switches and tube sockets Replace all
electrolytic caps (past service life). Replace diodes in power supply. Replace
thermistor on incoming power line. Replace power cable with grounded.
Replace burned resistors as necessary. . Check bias and bench / playing test
to spec all functions. Burn-in 45 min full power, idle 4 hours, and recheck
voltages, power output, functions and playing test.

Please note that both manufacturers and myself recommend once a year
maintenance and bench / playing testing for reliability and best performance.

Notes: I recommend you run this
unit at the 125v setting for best tube life. Unit is exceeding factory specs for
noise with input shorted, and distortion specs are .1%L and .3%R, at slightly
above 40w which ezxceeds factory specs of .5% (see attached mesurements).
