With its near 30 Lb copper-clad chassis, Denon’s 5900 was built as a statement product.  Their goal was to make CD’s, SACD and DVD sound and look as good as they possibly could.  The heavily grounded and shielded chassis, upgraded precision, dual power supplies and precision laser mechanism make the 5900 stand out as a top performer.   High-end Burr-Brown 192kHz/24-bit DACs make the most of your CD collection, while Pure Direct mode lets you switch off the video circuits and display panel, for greater sonic purity. It also outputs pure digital information on Coaxial and TosLink outputs to any DAC you choose.  SACD can be output in stereo or multi-channel based on the disc.

CONDITION -  This unit is clean and tested.  The faceplate is aluminum, however the plastic inserts at each end are broken.  This does not affect operation or performance.
